Enriched Housing
With a suite-style, private studio apartment, you will have the independence to continue enjoying all the things independent- living-level residents enjoy – with the right amount of assistance when you need it. This care level includes medication management, bathing assistance (if needed), laundry services, housekeeping, and three meals a day.
Skilled Nursing
Our skilled nursing program offers 24-hour nursing care, dispenses medication, and helps residents with meals and personal hygiene. We also address more than just the physical concerns of our residents. Our medical staff cares for each person with specially designed services, programs, and activities to help foster resident involvement and provide intellectual and physical stimulation. The benefits of our program include:
24/7 Care: This program offers around-the-clock care from medical staff should a problem ever arise. Our Medical Director and/or attending physician are on-site four days a week and are available 24/7 for consultations. In-house medical services include x-rays, labs, EKG, dopplers and pacemaker checks. We work with your personal physicians to ensure continuity of care.
Physical Stimulation: Different exercises are assigned to patients depending on their ability levels. Exercise can be a crucial part of the recovery process.
Social Interaction: Social activities keep a person alert and can support brain health. Socialization is also a key component in the road to recovery.
Skilled Rehabilitation
We provide in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation services 6 days a week to those who are in recovery from an illness or injury. Our licensed medical staff is trained in multiple therapies to provide our residents with the skills and tools they need to heal. These therapies include:
Physical Therapy – This form of therapy exists to help ease pain, improve bodily function, improve movement, and make life better.
Occupational Therapy – This therapy helps people to restore their independence and increase their ability to perform daily tasks.
Speech Therapy – This therapy helps to improve speech and cognitive abilities as well as enhances memory retention and swallowing.

Fitness and Wellness

At The Knolls at Goshen, Orange County’s premiere Continuing Care Retirement Community, we offer unparalleled access to facilities and experts that are needed to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a wellness regimen and fitness programs. Our mission is to continually introduce new and healthy styles of living while helping residents maintain healthy physical abilities. At our fitness center, you will find plenty of variety and stimulating activities to keep you healthy and active.
Art and Music
Discover the arts & crafts area comprised of two rooms with large windows, craft tables, a sewing center and even a kitchen for all sorts of projects. Residents meet every Saturday to make centerpieces for the dining room, lap blankets for patients in our Health Care Center, to work on their knitting or crochet projects, make jewelry, and of course, work on scrapbooks – which make great gifts for the grandchildren!
Music and singing can be heard coming from the Rhinebeck Room where performers entertain. Some entertainers have become well-known and loved. They are asked to come back every year! From show-tunes to an artist playing the accordion, there’s a musical performance to suit every taste.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite at the Cafe or sitting down for a full-course meal in the Crystal Dining Room, The Knolls at Goshen’s dining experience is sure to please residents and guests, alike.
Cafe: Perfect for those residents looking for a quick bite or something to grab on the go, including daily offerings of continental breakfast and a variety of lunch options to choose from.
Crystal Dining Room: Residents looking for a more conventional dining experience can enjoy either lunch or dinner in the dining room where sit-down service is offered.
Private Dining Rooms: The Knolls at Goshen offers two reservable private dining rooms so that residents can invite family and friends to join them for private functions, birthday parties, or family reunions.
Room Service: Complimentary from the dining room.
Happy Hour: Every Monday and Wednesday residents enjoy a Happy Hour with beverages, appetizers, and – most importantly – conversation and socialization.
